Dienstag, 15. Januar - Berlin is SO POPULAR!
Heute hatte ich wieder einen Job für Sopopular auf der Berlin Fashion Week. Nachdem ich bei mehreren anderen Castings nicht genommen wurde (zum Beispiel Michalski oder Kilian Kerner), habe ich mich sehr über Sopopular gefreut. Die Fotos seht ihr hier.
Schon als ich am Fashion Week Zelt ankam sah ich bekannte Gesichter, so zum Beispiel Marie Nasemann und Bruce Darnell, doch das sollten auch die einzigen Berühmtheiten für heute bleiben. Die Berlin Fashion Week hält so viel von sich, aber wirklich berühmt ist weder sie, noch ihre Gäste. Die restlichen Leute im Fashion-Week-Zelt waren eine Mischung aus Stylisten, Designern, Journalisten und Bloggern. Letztere erkennt man schnell und eindeutig: Sie sind so übertrieben aufgestylt, dass sie total aus der Masse fallen (das MacBook oder iPad unterm Arm darf nicht fehlen) und sie haben die seltsame Eigenschaft sich total wichtig zu fühlen. Doch ich finde diese Fashion-Blogger alles andere als wichtig. Manche von euch denken sich jetzt bestimmt: Richard, du bist doch selbst einer! Aber Nein! Ich möchte mich ganz eindeutig von all den Fashion-Blogs distanzieren! Mein Blog ist mehr ein Tagebuch über meine Erlebnisse als Model, als menschliches Wesen. Ich finde es weitaus interessanter von Geschichten Hinter den Kulissen zu berichten und einen Einblick in die verrückte Welt der Mode-Industrie zu geben, anstatt nur von außen auf sie zu blicken und zu sagen: “Oh.. diese Kollektion ist aber besonders toll.. und diese nicht… und ich bin ja soooowas von modisch!” So ein Quatsch interessiert mich nicht.
Jedenfalls ist die Kollektion von Sopopular aus Blogger-Augen bestimmt “besonders tooooollll”, denn ich finde sie auch gut. Besonders cool fand ich, den Baseball-Schläger, der mich bedrohlicher wirken ließ.
Mein Model-Bekannter Philip Milojevic war auch bei der Präsentation dabei. Ihn habe ich vor zwei Jahren in Mailand, bei meiner zweiten großen Modenschau (John Varvatos) kennengelernt. Er ist auch Berliner, aber modelt zur zeit immer noch Fulltime und ist deshalb oft in Europa unterwegs.
Ich musste das Fulltime Modeln ja vorerst an den Nagel hängen, weil das Studium mich erstmal weiter bringt. Ich studiere Fotografie, Film und alles mögliche in der Richtung. “Creative Direction” könnte man dazu sagen, also Kreative Leitung.
Über Sopopular lässt sich nur eins sagen: Ich mag die Marke sehr und die Mitarbeiter sind auch super nett. Ich glaube, ich bin für ihr Lookbook gebucht. Das bedeutet, dass ich in zwei Wochen vielleicht wieder von Sopopular berichten werde. Juhuu :)

Anonym fragte: Zu Daniel Bemdad (komischer Name, ist er deutsch?) und den andren tätowierten Models in deiner Liste: Verstehe nicht, wie man sich durch Tattoos verschandeln kann. Warum seinen schönen Körper hässlich machen? Wie stehst du dazu, Richard? Ich bin kein Fan von Unnatürlichkeit, sprich Tattoos, Piercings, Sonnenstudio, ...
Ich finde Tattoos nicht hässlich. Habe ja selber eins.. und es wird auch bei mir nicht bei dem einen bleiben. Ich finde auch einige Piercings gut. Und es ist berechtigt, dass zur Zeit die tätowierten Models im kommen sind.
Ich sehe das so: Wenn wir mal Omis und Opis sind, wird es das Normalste der Welt sein, Tattoos aus der Jugend zu besitzen.
Die Welt ist ständig im Wandel… und die aktuelle junge Generation ist halt geprägt durch Tattoos und Piercings… Und es kann gut sein, dass unsere Kinder wieder total auf Reinheit und Natürlichkeit stehen… Jede Generation hat so ihr Markenzeichen.
Und es gibt natürlich Ausnahmen… aber ich finde man sollte Tattoos oder Piercings nicht für hässlich erklären, nur weil man sie selbst nicht tragen mag.

Hey, Ja ich bin diese Saison in Berlin geblieben und habe die Shows in Paris und Mailand verpasst. Trotzdem habe ich die Chance bei der Berlin Fashion Week dabei zu sein.
Bei den Frauen-Models kenne ich mich aber weniger aus. Aber natürlich fänd ich es auch lustig dort bekannte Gesichter hinter den Kulissen zu treffen.
